GET READY FOR RCEC FALL PREVENTION AWARENESS WEEK 2022
Falls are a leading cause of fatal and non-fatal injuries in elderly that can result in fractures, head injury and even death. Yearly, 1 in 4 elderly person is involved in either a fatal or non-fatal fall which may not be reported.
Rehoboth Centre for Elderly Care has organized this Fall prevention awareness week to increase awareness around fall health and injury prevention among the elderly, as well as to support and provide unique individualized strategies to help reduce the risk of falling.
We enjoin the general public, private individuals, organizations, health professionals, caregivers and the elderly to join us in this advocacy, education and support program for the elderly through the first week of the month of JULY. We believe that this campaign will help save and prevent more elders from falling.
