Rehoboth Centre for Elderly Care will be 1 year on the 5th of August 2022. The last 12 months have been tremendous. We’ve been able to make a great impact in the lives of our enlisted elders and also their families and caregivers.

HOW YOUR DONATION IS USED

Our TOTAL EXPENSES in the last 12 months is approximately N1,038,500 only. This was made possible by support and contributions of Donors and families.

To celebrate our 1 year anniversary, Rehoboth has decided to take her services to the grassroot level (community) through the GRAY WELL PROJECT 1.

The GRAY WELL PROJECT is a program designed by Rehoboth Centre for Elderly Care to work with the elderly at the grassroots LEVEL. It is created to introduce an age-friendly environment that helps improve the quality of life for the ageing population at the grassroots.

HOW TO SUPPORT & PARTNER WITH US

Production of resources in local languages.
Payment of monthly routine health check.
Provision of relieve package.
Allowance for volunteers
Glucometer with test strips.
Blood pressure apparatus

GRAY WELL PROJECT 1 PURPOSE

Create healthy lifestyle awareness for the elders at the grassroots.
Give safety aging tips by using community-based approach.
Promote social interaction with the older adults in the community.
Liaise with the community health workers (volunteer) to provide quick and timely health care needs for enlisted elders on GRAY WELL CARE.

Meet Our Gray Well Ambassadors

Last week Saturday, 12th October 2022, the 12-week Gray Well Project 1 in Ushafa came to a close.

We are delighted at the results that we got at the end of the 12 weeks projects. It’s been a wonderful experience.

The goal of the project was to bring Elderly Care to the grassroots level and to do this with approaches such as inclusive learning exercises as well as the incorporation of recreational activities, diversional therapy Etc. With the general aim of bringing a smile to the face of every elder in the chosen community.

This and many more we’ve been able to achieve in the last 12 weeks, with the help of volunteers, The Primary Health Care Centre in Ushafa, sponsors and the co-operation of the selected elders.
