The Meals on the Wheel by Rehoboth Center For Elderly Care (RCEC) is a monthly food and basic needs distribution to Older Adults who can’t afford their basic supplies
AIM:
The program seeks to address the challenges of aging by promoting health and quality of life through distribution to nutritionals food supplies.
- To promote one on one encounters with older adults by creating healthy interaction among them.
- To create an opportunity for check-in/ follow up by our trained volunteers to prevent loneliness and ensure their safety.
PROGRAM INTERVAL:
Monthly
ELIGIBILITY:
- Must be a senior.
- Lacking basic care and supplies.
- Home bond.
- Disabled elders.
- Veterans.
- Loss of spouse and alone.
HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT THE PROGRAM MEALS ON THE WHEELS
- Give Monthly to Sponsor an elder
- Donate Foods, provisions and toiletries.
- Give quarterly donations.
- Work with us as a Corporate or private Organization to support the monthly program.
- Volunteer to join our community of positive change agents.
